We use your information to operate your account, display your profile, match you with debates, process tips and memberships, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Debate Content

Debates on FACEOFF are live and may be recorded. Audio, video, and transcripts from debates may be stored, processed by AI for scoring, and published on the platform or shared on social media. By participating in a debate you consent to this.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform: Google (authentication), Supabase (database and auth), LiveKit (live audio/video), Mux (video recording), Deepgram (transcription), Anthropic Claude (AI scoring), and Flutterwave (payments). Each of these services has their own privacy policy.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
